Webinar by PMAI on pellets industry on 3rd March 2022
PMAI is delighted to report that the first ever webinar was organized by our association on 3rd March 2022 from 11 AM to 3 PM on the topic ” Role of Iron Ore Pellets in achieving 300 MTPA of steel by 2030 “.
The webinar was a resounding success : Over 210 people from different parts of India and abroad participated . A total of 15 presentations were made by eminent experts of Pellets Industry , including 4 from USA as well as a Govt R&D Lab – IMMT , CSIR and Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines . A wide range of topics were covered , like Raw Materials, Pellets technology and how it is dependent on mineralogical characteristics of Iron ore from different regions , Beneficiation of low/medium grade ore, Slurry Pipelines , and R&D efforts in India and world wide .
The Inaugural address was given by Smt Rasika Chaube , Additional Secretary , Ministry of Steel . The Valedictory address was given by Shri Rao Sahab Patil Danve , Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways, Mines and Coal , Government of India .
