• In India the ‘Waste to Wealth’ route has always received policy support from the Government.
• With the diminishing resources, the concept of Circular Economy has gained momentum.

• Around 70% of the Iron Ore mined is in the form of Fines (minus 10mm)
• Fines cannot be used in BF and surplus fines at pit head are environmental hazard.
• About 120 MT of fines are lying at pit heads
• Answer lies in Agglomeration – Sinter or Pellets or both
